am-i-crazy: Today while at school I was walking through the halls with my best friend. I stopped when I saw a sticky note on a locker. Random lockers. The notes read “have an amazing day”, “have a beautiful day”, etc. Nice anonymous people give me a lot of hope and it made me smile every time I passed by one.

This very brave girl is starting an organization called No Kid Should Be Bullied. She’s awesome. Student Ziainey Stokes from West Philadelphia wrote a letter to President Obama about bullying in January. The 11-year-old was fed up with being a victim after several years of abuse at two schools. “I wrote that some people don’t care if you get bullied or not, but I do care,” Ziainey...

Panera Co. to open more pay-what-you-wish eateries →
siosio: clitorisaurusrex: erikawithac: obliviousunction: twigl: The idea for Panera’s first nonprofit restaurant was to open an eatery where people paid what they could. The richer could pay full price — or extra. The poorer could get a cheap or even free meal. …Its cashiers tell customers their orders’ “suggested” price based on the menu. About 60 to 70 percent pay in full, Shaich...
